Construction on the new Scott County Jail is underway. The project kicked off with a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday.
The $9.6M addition and major renovation on the square in Scottsburg, IN will ease overcrowding at the facility.
Shireman Construction serves as construction manager for the county.
